Think and act without bias​

This track is focused at organizations who want to truly live diversity & inclusion. Employees and hiring managers will learn why it is such an important concept for your organizations and what any employee can do create and cherish a diverse workplace.​

Demystifying Diversity & Inclusion

  • Understand D&I and what does it mean for you (personal stories)?
  • Learn how to translate D&I values into actionable behaviours
  • Reflect on how these behaviours relate to strengths of your team & organization
  • Define action plan how to step up on values and behaviours of D&I

Unconscious Bias

  • Take a deep-dive into your bias to learn how to circumvent it in your daily communication & thinking
  • Uncover which (unconscious) biases influence your opinion and decisions
  • Create an approach to mitigate typical (unconscious) biases
  • Learn how to translate that approach into actionable behaviours

Sincere Conversations

  • Learn how to identify and address gaps in values to maintain desired behaviours.
  • Learn how to address your co-workers in conversation on values of D&I in the right way
  • Practice conversations and role-playing  to identify how to best  address identified gaps in values and desired behaviours for yourself and co-workers
  • Use the OIDR-framework to achieve success on key values of D&I in your daily communication

 

The Diversity & Inclusion Track is essential in a world where diversity & inclusion are undeniably one of the first social concerns of many organizations. How can  you truly make everybody feel welcome in the workplace has become a top priority. This track will learn employees how to observe and act equally no matter someones background or profile. Participants will learn this in three cohesive modules that do justice to an employers perspective to strive for equality.

Training topics:3 standardized topics

Classroom sessions:3 hours per topic

Growth mindset

  • Become aware of one’s own strengths
  • Learn the importance of reflection to recognize areas of improvement
  • Be stimulated to actively try out new things to accelerate personal development 

Conscious communication

  • Gain awareness of different levels of communication within a conversation
  • Learn to switch between different levels of communication
  • Practice making progress when a conversation gets stuck, by communicating on the right or a different level

Taking ownership

  • Practice to plan projects in logical steps, milestones and take dependencies into consideration 
  • Assess the optimal role for the stakeholders in projects and involve them accordingly

Actionable communication

  • Learn to structure your message and include a clear call-to-action
  • Practice conveying only key messages needed for impact 
  • Practice to tailor a message to the audience and goal

Time management - prioritizing

  • Understand the concept of urgent vs. important, and how this can impact priorities
  • Practice how to schedule, plan and prioritise

Feedback for growth

  • Learn to use examples of behavior & impact to illustrate feedback
  • Learn how to use critical feedback to modify behavior and practice engaging in constructive discussions
  • Discuss the importance of ongoing (frequent and informal) feedback

Personality profiling

  • Become aware of one’s own strengths
  • Learn the importance of reflection to recognize areas of improvement
  • Be stimulated to actively try out new things to accelerate personal development
