I inform my new colleagues about the agenda and take the lead in the conversation I consider myself to be an outspoken person and like to take the initiative during introductions, but I also carefully listen to what my new colleagues have to say, what their roles are, and what hobbies they have I focus on being an active listener. I make sure to maintain eye contact, nod my head to show that I'm engaged, and take notes to demonstrate that I'm paying attention before I introduce myself I’m super excited to meet my new team members, and I’m curious about their ideas and perspectives. I love bringing positive energy to the call I’m very laid-back and let others speak first, but I also try to bring some humor into the conversation to connect with my new colleagues and make everybody feel comfortable

Q4: You must confront a team member because they missed an important deadline. How do you approach that person?

I address my team member with a businesslike demeanor. I keep the conversation professional and focus on the issue at hand I make clear that I understand the situation. Perhaps they had a personal emergency or faced unexpected roadblocks that led to the missed deadline Although I want my team to take their responsibilities, I will listen to my colleague’s explanation, share my feedback, and work together to come up with a schedule that is more feasible I listen patiently to what my colleague has to say, so I understand their situation, and then come up with constructive tools they can use to do better in the future I don’t blame the person for missing that deadline; we can always move it to next week. Instead, I want to have an open conversation and find ways to prevent future missed deadlines

I approach problems at work analytically and systematically, breaking the situation down into straightforward, manageable tasks Collaboration is key when it comes to problem-solving at work. I check the perspectives of my colleagues so I can look at the problem at hand from different angles When faced with a problem, I stay enthusiastic and optimistic that a solution can be found, no need to stress about it. I believe in fixing a problem rather than dwelling on it for too long I will take the lead but also encourage my team to think critically about the situation. I will give them the support and resources they need so we can tackle the problem together I need to reflect on it for a while because finding a sustainable solution may take time. I am determined and confident though that I can find a way forward
